Dirk Wittowsky is a professor of mobility and urban Planning at the University of Duisburg-Essen. He studied civil engineering and received his PhD from the University of Karlsruhe on public transport information and user acceptance. His research interests focus on the development and design of sustainable transport systems, travel behavior analysis and transport modeling and smart mobility.
