Ellen Blake has advocated for walking both nationally in New Zealand and in Wellington over many years. I am especially interested in the next generation of footpaths and public spaces developed as places that people, including children, older folks and disabled people, want to live in and move through as a first choice on foot. The first step towards this is being able to imagine those places.
