Heike Bunte is leading the section: Active Mobility for the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg focusing on active mobility. She worked as a consultant for active mobility in the Netherlands, Great Britain and New Zealand. For the University of Dresden she researched on cycling safety and worked for the Federal Environment Agency. She published several articles, papers on walking and cycling.
