João Monteiro is currently developing a PhD project in Geography at the University of Minho, with funding from the Foundation for Science and Technology. He is a member of the SpaceR group, of the Laboratory of Landscapes, Heritage and Territory, developing his research on school mobility, children's geographies, collaborative planning, Child Friendly Cities and Geographic Information Systems.
