After organising Walk21 in Rotterdam in 2019, Karen van der Spek is responsible for the program Rotterdam Walks as a program coordinator. Rotterdam Walks is an integral program, that combines sports and health with mobility and city development. She is also working on a mobility neighbourhood approach. She strongly believes in connecting the system to the everyday live.
