Kirsten von Elverfeldt studied geography, soil science and meteorology. From 2010 to 2023 she researched at the University of Klagenfurt on society-environment relations. Since 2023, she is working within HeiGIT's Climate Action research group on climate protection and adaptation indicators to provide know-how for communities and decision-makers to achieve climate neutrality and fitness.
