Dr. William Bird, a GP, promotes physical. As Strategic Health Advisor to the Met Office and Natural England, he advanced health forecasting and green social prescribing. An Honorary Professor at Exeter, he is CEO of Intelligent Health, creating the Beat the Street initiative. He chairs Active Essex, received an MBE in 2010, and co-edited the Oxford Textbook of Nature and Public Health in 2018.
