Xi Chen is a PhD student in the Design degree program at the University of Tsukuba, Japan, research interests are Shared Space and street design. She was a research assistant at the Institution of Art and Design, University of Tsukuba, and working on how to create a "Pedestrian-Prioritized street space". She will also give an oral presentation at the 71st Japan Society for Sciences of Design.
