1. On Foot

2. Subway (Metro)

Get out in the Entrecampos station (Yellow line). Walk about 150m in the direction of the Entrecampos roundabout. Turn left at the Entrecampos roundabout to the Forças Armadas avenue and walk some 150m more, ISCTE will be on your right on the top of the avenue.

3. Carris buses

Get on one of the 701 or 754 buses. Get out on Forças Armadas avenue stop on the top of the avenue. The Iscte entrance will be 50m down on your right.

4. Train

Get out on the Entrecampos station on República avenue Walk about 250m in the direction of the Entrecampos roundabout. Turn left at the Entrecampos roundabout to the Forças Armadas avenue and walk some 150m more, ISCTE will be on your right on the top of the avenue.

5. Car

Go up the Forças Armadas avenue in the Entrecampos - Sete Rios direction Enter the parking which is 100m on your right.

6. Bicycle

Cycling through Entrecampos, particularly near the ISTCE campus, offers a convenient and scenic way to navigate Lisbon.

Climate

The climate in Lisboa is temperate, offering the best of both Atlantic and Mediterranean breezes throughout the year. The average temperature in winter is about 17°C/ 62°F. The average temperature in summer is about 26°C/ 79°F.

The official currency of Portugal is the euro (€).

Electric Current
The Portuguese standard is the European 2-pin socket with 220 volts AC at 50cycles.

Hotel Check in/out Policy
Normal check in time at hotels is 15:00. The established check out time is 12:00. Should you need guaranteed occupancy before 13:00 on the day of your arrival, the previous night should be reserved.

Language
The official language in Portugal is Portuguese. English, Spanish, and French are also widely spoken.

Smoking
The Portuguese law, in accordance with regulations in force in the majority of European Union member states, does not allow smoking in public transportation or in any closed public areas. However, some restaurants, bars, and clubs may have designated smoking areas.

TAX Free
Sales tax (VAT) is included in prices quoted. For persons who are not residents of the European Union, tax-free shopping schemes are available in many shops, giving substantial savings to visitors.
