Asa Thomas is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Transport and Society at the University of the West of England. His research focuses on active travel to school and and the impact of streetscapes on life in public space. His PhD research at the University of Westminster looked at School Street closures, an interest he has carried into an ongoing project on barriers to walking on the school trip.
