Laura Hagedoorn began working as a policymaker for the province of Groningen in '22 after completing her studies in Spatial Development. One of her initial tasks was to create a walking plan for the province, ensuring pedestrians a permanent place in provincial policy. Her studies have given her a strong focus on traffic safety, but as an avid hiker, she also works towards the recreational aspect.
