Dr. Frank is a walkability pioneer and first to quantify built environment, active transportation, and health relationships. He coined the term “walkability” in the early 90’s and has been cited over 52,000 times and is at the top of planning academics globally. He works closely with practitioners documenting health, GHG, and economic benefits of active transportation and transit investments.
