Paulo is an urban planner from Lisbon with a Phd in transportation systems and more than a decade researching walkability. He has participated in various Walk21 conferences, addressing walkability models, pedestrian networks and even a robot to assess sidewalks.Currently he is busy with the implementation of the portuguese national walking strategy, enjoying linking science and policy.
