Suzanne Lecroart has worked as a civil servant in the fields of social housing and urban planning policy for local authorities in the east of France and in the Paris region. She has degrees in management and urban planning, and a personal passion for slowing down cities. She is now deputy inter-ministerial coordinator for the development of cycling and walking at the French Ministry of Transport.
